This weekend ballet intensive for adult beginners will help skyrocket your dancing success by giving you the step-by-step guide that random drop in classes simply can't.
Come learn from some of New York's warmest teachers in a gorgeous, sunny studio overlooking Manhattan's skyline.
After this workshop you will:

Learn the basics of barre and simple, beginner friendly variations from the lovely Isabella Torres, owner of Petit Allonge Bella in Midtown Manhattan.
Refine your center work and learn the little details that make your dancing stand out from Broadway's Deanna Doyle, whose background includes ABT, NYCB & the Kansas City Ballet.
Improve your balance, strength & flexibility with grace and self love in Veronica Viccora's stretch class specifically designed for dancers that blends yoga, pilates & the ballet barre.

FAQs
Will the choreography be hard? No! Any choreography we learn will be beginner friendly and draw upon the basic foundations you've learned all weekend.
Will I have to perform or dance solo?
No! There will be no formal performance in this specific workshop. Just fun learning opportunities, always in a group setting with other fellow beginners, and always in a shame-free environment.
Will there be breaks between classes?
Yes, there will be chances for you to rest, get a bite to eat, mingle with new friends and ask questions you may have between learning sessions.
Is there a dress code? We recommend black leotard and pink tights if you'd like to feel like the classic ballerina you always wanted to be! But you're more than welcome to wear whatever makes you feel most comfortable. :)
Do I have to wear those fancy shoes?
No! This is NOT a pointe class. Soft shoes like these are highly recommended. But you can also come barefoot or in socks.
Will I be allowed to film myself?
Yes! You're welcome to film your progress during classes if you so choose. And if you plan to share, please tag your fellow teachers so we can show some love!
