Maybe you've never danced before or maybe you're returning to ballet after many years away. Either way, this workshop was designed for you! Moving away from the barre can feel scary, but it doesn't have to be! This 2 hour masterclass is the follow up to our BARRE BASICS workshop and goes even deeper into basic ballet technique for adult beginners. You'll learn how to break down the foundations of centerwork, step by step, without EVER being shamed for for what you don't know, how you look, or any other reason. This gentle and FUN workshop was designed to help guide you to understanding: • How to perform basic center exercises & combinations • How your barre warm up links to your success in the center • The secrets to finding balance and strength even when moving away from the barre • How to dance using proper posture & SAFE turn out • A brief introduction to jumps, choreography & much more! WHEN: 9/14/24 2PM-4PM - 🩰 YOU'LL ALSO BE ABLE TO: • Ask all the questions you like! We LOVE hearing what you're feeling confused about so we can guide you to success! • Make friends with other adult ballerinas & build a community of likeminded dancers • Film yourself during class so you can study your progress at home & improve your technique much faster - 💖 WHO IS THIS WORKSHOP FOR?
